Lemon10, your turn text doesn't work. I'm trying to fix it but if you're online and see this, could you fix it yourself?

By the looks of it you've managed to put your user name in every army id...

Okay, fixed it, update imminent.

EDIT. Still not fixed. Could you resubmit?

Bravo.  If that is unintentional, bravo.

Apparently Lemon10 is still online. Hopefully he'll see this before I pack things in for the evening.

Yeah I thought I had it fixed but it turned out I'd accidentally entered your last turn that I'd been looking at for comparison.

Spoiler: 870 AD (click to show/hide)

Conchobar's host marches back to the flaxen fields where it all began, over 50 long years ago. His bones ache something fierce, and he is unable to march with his men, instead being carried between them on the final leg of the final journey of his life. The throne is destined for his elder son, Cathal, who is himself old as such things are measured. Cathal will see the dream of his father complete, a Ireland completely united under a single king, from shore to uncontested shore shall the kingdom stretch. But Cathal is his own man, his own king. Long has he watched England from the shores of The Isle of Man, and soon, the time will come for the Irish to march in force from their homes.

In England war continued to rage in the south where Ivar the Boneless' hordes amassed in Wessex, while the brutal Hagar sailed his men straight into the open ports of the embattled town of Bridlington. Many green sword-rattling boys are hacked apart by the valiant Mac Maern and Mac Donald riders, but the reprisal is brutal. Not for many decades, not since the days of the old king Causantin, have so many highborn Picts died in one day. Mac Intosh, Mac Farlane, Mac Dougal... the list was long. At best they were able to kill Old Selkie, who always knew it was their last raid. Eric the Blue scored the most kills, so blood-splattered was he that they joked he ought be called Eric the Red.

In the far north the canny Skyeband were able to breach Mott Fergusa, their blockade preventing their weak ships succumbing the Pictish galleons. In the far north, the Picts sent waves of ships to destroy the great ship bridge that allowed free-flow of Danes to their shore but though some longboats were lost, most were untouched and the great army led by Theorl Slizard landed to beseige the Northern Tor.

At the end of the year, no more Danes came. Was this lull the beginning of the end? And what would become of the more seasoned commanders on the field now their funds were running low?

I would love both, actually, as I'm running low on stone for once and have never had horses.
