Spoiler: Battle Log (click to show/hide)

Another year, another wave of Danish attacks! In the north, reinforcements come just in time to save the great city of Conniston, while in the south the Welsh repel the hordes that swarmed at the gates of Aberaeron. The Irish kill a lone viking named Olaf, while Ivar the Boneless manages to establish Danelaw in Grimsby and makes haste to capture the ex-Northumbrian village of Bridlington. The King of the Picts is at large in Mercia while the south is awash with bands of west Saxons. Will the Danelaw spread? Where will the Picts go next? Will Wessex continue to spread into Mercian lands?

Better start running North, Pictland, because you're not holding that off with what you have up there right now.

Also, what are the rules of destroying a building in this game?

I've allowed city destruction, so I guess I'll allow the same rules as in the last game: you can destroy a building IF you don't do anything else in the city AND the city is not occupied by another player's army.

Begining of the turn application, right?

Yes, I always apply changes like that at the beginning of the turn (so if you destroyed a cavern mines, for example, and used all your iron allowance to build things that year, something wouldn't be built due to the shortage).

Honestly, I think he can. He'd be in trouble if he didn't have that big fleet right there, but he does, so most of those raiders aren't going to land unless he lets them, and the Skyeband only has 10 unupgraded level 1 swordsmen and halberdiers - not nearly enough to comfortably go against the forces in and around Conniston. These galleons are really throwing the Danes off their game - longboats are no match for them, and carracks are dead meat if they get caught.

His fleet can't bypass the ships in the way.  Only forces in danger of being lost without landing are the ones on either side, and those have a chance to get to land.  Forces will have to be split between two cities in order to prevent their capture.  I doubt that is the only ones going to be coming in at that.

Seeing as my idea was the same as the man who created this game, I think it was a good one.
