I feel its necessary to point out to Zanz that although he has posted quite a bit this turn, he hasn't actually submitted one.

I was waiting for confirmation that the trade was corrected.  He apparently gifted 5 horses rather than the 4 the trade was.  They aren't necessary for me this turn, but I still want that corrected.

The Pict knights in the north painted blue and riding fierce ponies muster on the hills as the legions of Mercian archers swarm in the valleys. In the south, Egbert and his long camp march into a hastily emptied Birmingham, as his siege engines slowly make their way to the enemy and his new Welsh allies march the short road from Wrexham to Manchester. The last remaining villagers in Ireland huddle in caves and hope to be forgotten.
