Coenwulf captures the half-abandoned Northumbrian town while the Picts watch from the hills above, planning their next move. In the south Wessex continues to grow and begins to incur the wrath of the Mercian lord. Industry grows in irada and the men of Lampeter begin to sharpen their axes.

Hey Wessex, would I be able to take 17, 35 and 18, 34 off your hands?  Both are hills that only grant you 1 food and without a city in the area, you can't improve them to make them actually worthwhile.

Merica finally comes to send forces down to punish the southerly saxons that appear to be making peace with the barbaric Welsh, the Picts gather to contest the Northumbrian land, while the Northumbrians themselves turn their gaze to the western isle.
