Chain Poem
« on: July 10, 2014, 11:52:53 am »

I saw that game on another forums and thought it was a really fun experience, if you're into it.

Essentially, one person makes a line, and the next person finishes it so that it rhymes with the previous line, and makes another line for the next person. And so on and so forth.

You've seen these kinda games before, but instead of making a crime sound innocent or whatever, you make rhymes.
It doesn't have to be strictly coherent, as long as it rhymes and doesn't break any universally accepted rules like no nudity and whatnot it's all fair game.

I'll get the ball rolling:

At long last, the heroes arrive at the tower,
Go.

The first bears as his crest a crimson flower,
The second wears a silver circlet in her hair,

And there's chaos when push comes to shove, but it's music to my ears.

Into darkness they boldly stare, into the darkness of the tower so lone
The five friends, bound through foul and fair.

A bastion, against the land's despair:
sworn to slay a devil, in the final hour.

Together they'd scale the tallest tower
And fight the beast that plauges the land

Into the tower went the ragtag band,

Their neighbor in one hand, sword in the other.

The leader of the band saw his brother

He said, "What the hell are you doing here?"

Behind the traitor, grew a forest of sporange.

The second crusader flashed his blade, a carefully crafted piece of silver.
