Kyle nods and begins on his ways out. Something bothers him but he can't quite place it.

Lora dreams of corridors paneled with platinum and jade, of the distant sound of the sea. A blurred face flickers briefly in the corner of her eye, a soft whisper caresses her ear for a moment, "Is that you? H-"

[Kyle Ref: 17+6] [Vic Ref: 4+1] [Rich Ref: 5+5] [Lora Ref: -] [Jern Ref: 9+4] [Eil Ref: 8+3]

Suddenly there is a large shake beneath the island. The tower miraculously stays up though the majority of the party fares less well. All of you, except Kyle, are knocked to the floor. Richye is just lucky enough to not get clubbed by a rock.

Running outside the group notices that the guards haven't fared quite as well as you did. In fact they seem to have been suffering from crushing despair... Because they've been crushed by bricks. They're dead is the point. You also notice that the entire towers seems to be swaying. Probably not wise to stick around.

In the distance there is a large fire judging by the colossal volume of dark smoke rising from behind the hill.

Vicnan has no desire but to not be on this stupid island anymore, and keeps booking it to the Sunhammer.

Eileen starts to run for the ship, but she notices the smoke. She stares at it for a few moments. Her eyes fill with tears as she sprints toward it, crying out in Druidic. Ylva seems most unsettled by this and takes off after her.

Try to wake up.

[Will: 11-1] The shaking manages to shock you just enough that you can force yourself to stay up. For how long you can manage this you don't know. Furthermore, your limbs refuse to work properly and your vision is blurry... Still, you are awake and see three shapes begin darting to the forest. Too large to be goblins.

Eileen, Kyle, Ylva: Run towards fire

Vicnan and Jernak: Run for the monastery

Since the easiest way towards both of your destinations is the top of the hill that you came from the group begins to make their way there. At the top of the hill, still within hearing distance of the castle where you hear Fluffy yelling curses at 'terrorist kobolds', you notice the sheer scope of the fire. Miles of forest are burning and only the hill was blocking the smoke from your eyes. You have a sinking feeling that you'll have to run through most of that to escape. The roar of the fire blocks out all sound from the jungle. Wait... No. Far in the distance, much farther than could be on the island, you hear something. Though you can't quite place what it is.

Unfortunately, Eileen seems to be more interested in the fire and immediately runs into the jungle.
