Kyle sighs before speaking.
"Well, your grace... that is the proper title right? Sorry, getting off topic, anways, we left the plate a discovery about the plate that made us rethink carrying it around."

"Is that so?" despite the calmness of Fluffy's voice, his body language made it readily apparent that the reason would need to be spectacular for him to remain calm.

Kyle pauses before nodding.
"Yes, the plate... it was made by an evil god of chaos you see. When your near itto things start happening."
Kyle looks at the others to back him up.

From behind Kyle comes Vicnan's voice. "This is an accurate statement."

"How strange," King Fluffy muttered as he stood up "I owned that plate for many years before it was stolen from me. Never once did I or any of my court wizards notice anything strange happening." reaching over to his Maul he hefted it onto his shoulders "Obviously you're in awe by just how astounding my kingdom is. Perhaps you should take a breath and then tell me the truth."

"Well, how do you know something didn't do it when it was gone? I know I saw it transform our dear friend here,"
Kyle moves to indicate Vican.
"From an orc woman to a their current form."

Lora keeps an ear on the conversation as she glances around the interior of the rather pitiful build site, scanning for things of value.

"Well, how do you know something didn't do it when it was gone? I know I saw it transform our dear friend here,"
Kyle moves to indicate Vican.

Vicnan glares at Kyle. "I thought we agreed to never speak of that again."

[[Bluff//Sense Motive: 12+0+2//6+1+10]] "As if a creature as powerful as an orc could be changed into something as weak and pathetic as a halfling. It couldn't happen..." Fluffy says offhandedly, though something in his voice indicates that he might not be so confidant as he lets on.

Lora keeps an ear on the conversation as she glances around the interior of the rather pitiful build site, scanning for things of value.

Now that you're looking around there seems to be a staircase at the North east corner of the room. That might lead to treasure... But aside from that there are carpenter's tools and lumber lying around. Valuable to certain people, but certainly not worth lugging around. Fluffy's Maul might be worthwhile though. But you'd need to be rather close to examine it.

Kyle nods.
"Of course! At least, normally that's the case. But we're dealing with powerful enchantments here, why do you think I said a god did it? Thay're the only things powerful enough to do so. Why would we lie to someone as mighty and powerful as you, your grace?"

Lora casually wanders around, slowly making her way out of the Bugbear's line of sight while attempting to avoid attracting his attention.

Fluffy smiles at this comment, you think, as he replies "Of course you wouldn't. I would be able to tell in an instant. I suppose this thief has done me a favor. None-the-less, he must be punished."
