Kyle thinks for a moment.
"Hm... could you give some examples of things that might interest us? Like... armor or weapons maybe? Or one of those magic bags. You know, the ones that are bigger on the inside?"

"I would like the materials for scribing 10 pages of spells into a spellbook, a pair of Arcanist's gloves, and as many arcane scrolls you are willing to part with. Also, if it doesn't cost me, what does the coin I gave you do?"

[Tawa]

"Would you happen to have any particularly fine string instruments?"

[Nerjin]

There is a brief pause before a intricate cloak flutters out of the pile. "This is a Cloak of Resistance. One of the lesser varieties I'll admit, but it should help you avoid danger. I have several of this variety. You may take one each if you wish. However, I also have weapons of various types, shapes, sizes, and material. The same for armor."

"You overestimate what I'm willing to part with. But I like you. It never hurts to ask. That's how you start a collection. But, scrolls... I have those in number. You can have five spells that are just above cantrips, and three spells above that. I think that would be fair. Obviously, I will include materials to scribe them into your book for free. That sounds fair to me. However, I'm willing to barter. As for the coin, it will always appear to land heads up. It's little more than a parlor trick. Still, I've not seen one before." Suddenly a pair of gloves erupt from the pile and land in front of you perfectly folded "There are your gloves."

"Would you happen to have any particularly fine string instruments?"

A lute wriggles its way free of the pile and floats in front of the curator "It's a replication of the Fochlucan Bandore. I doubt you've heard of it. However, it's just as powerful as the real thing. It's strings are much finer than any mundane instrument, and if you're skilled enough it can even produce spell like affects. This one can perform a flare, light, mending, and message... Once a day each. I think this will do?"

[Tawa]

"That... that's more than enough! You have my thanks."

Richye eagerly takes the lute.

Kyle takes the cloak. He thinks for a bit before looking to his bow. He removes it from his back and holds it out.
"Do you have anything better than this bow?"

[Nerjin]

The Curator pauses for a moment before your bow erupts into flames that somehow do not harm you yet you feel your bow lightening "I do." As your bow burns its wood darkens until the flame dies out. "Well, you do now anyway. It is now made of Darkwood. Half as light, and yet more potent. Enjoy."

Kyle blinks.
"That's... scary and impressive. Thank you."

Lora's eyes light up, "What sort o' rapiers d'ye have that ye'd be willing to part with, then? Oh, and I've heard tell o' some interesting things, rocks wiv' magic in, and little eggs full o' dust; have ye any o' those?"

"Hm... You seem to use two. I offer you two special ones. Both masterwork. One of Cold Iron and one steel, though it has been Silvered Alchemically. I believe you use two in a fight. Either that or you simply carry two. Either way, I am not quite so interested in the other items you've requested... I'm afraid I do not have them. I apologize for the inconvenience. If there is anything else you would like please speak up." with that two rapiers thrust through the treasure hoard and land, blade first, in the dirt beside Lora.

Jernak takes the cloak "Happen to have any weapons, rapier's and javelins that happen to be better than the ones I own now?"

Vicnan slips the gloves onto his hands.
"You are too kind, Curator. If you have any scrolls of Glitterdust, Web, Heroics, Nerveskitter, Color Spray, Silent Image, Benign Transposition and Treacherous Weapon, I would greatly appreciate it. If you're lacking in any of the first three, I would appreciate a Summon Swarm instead, and if you lack any of the last five, I would appreciate a Hoard Gullet instead. Thank you."

"I'm no so sure about that, mate. I'd rather have good steel at my side, I think, and I'm no so strong as to carry about four swords atop all else I have. D'you have a single rapier cast of mithral, or pr'haps a chain shirt o' th' same?
