They mentioned his name a few minutes ago. You've never heard anything about someone called Lanius prior to this however. It seems strange considering how freaked out the two men are.

"He was a legendary Dragon Shaman. Before they were destroyed by the Hellhammers he was their leader and the closest any mortal has come to being a full dragon. He was powerful. Able to channel the abilities of many different types of dragons. Most Dragon Shamans, according to legend, channeled a single Dragon. Such as Gold or Silver or Green or Red or so on. Lanius channeled them all. He could spit fire, acid, cold, and a variety of other elements whenever he pleased. No mortal could face him. He slaughtered numberless Hellhammers before... Well before his tea set showed up and he disappeared forever. So we thought."

"This isn't the time for joking. It's an obviously powerful artifact used by those who betrayed mortals to get in good graces with the dragons. Who in their right mind would use it for tea? Anyone who touches the thing can feel the darkness within."

For a moment the Monk seems to be quite surprised and openly gapes at you for a few seconds "What does tea have to do with anything!? You could... I suppose you could theoretically make tea with it yes. Why would you want to?"
