"We could try to sweet talk the plate from him." Jernak answers back to Vicnan in a hushed tone

Jernak awkwardly looks at the goblin
"Erm, do we have to bring the plate to him now or later?"

"I-I-I a-a-am Mimilordy... I-I-I a-a-am t-t-t-t..." the goblin takes a second before resuming "I am to l-l-lead you to h-his Excellency. At F-Fluffy Keep. I-I-It's an hour from h-h-here. A-a-are you r-r-ready? N-nevermind... H-he will want you there soon." So saying the Goblin begins leading you through the forest. Along the way you cross a similar bridge to the one you fought the goblins at earlier. It would appear that there are many such locations scattered about the island.

Throughout the entire trip your guide is silent. Eventually you see something grey poking out above the trees as you reach the crest of a hill. It is distant though, so you are unable to place what it is.

"T-that i-is F-Fluffy Keep." Your guide intones though you're still not entirely certain what it actually is.

It takes nearly fifteen minutes before the group realizes just what it is. The beginnings of a tower (or a castle?) are starting to take shape. The stonesmanship is poor, at best, and rather haphazardly put together. It's impressive that the thing hasn't fallen considering it is easily forty feet tall on the west side (though the east side appears to be only fifteen). A pair of goblins greet you at the gate (or, rather, where a gate would be. For now there is simply a large plank of wood serving as a door.

"Who goes there? Who seeks the audiant of his Excellency, King Fluffy?" asks a Goblin holding a spear.

"Th-the Platebearers!"

"One momentin." The Speargoblin turns towards his associate, who holds a club, and shouts "LOWER THE GATE!"

The Clubgoblin makes a very impressive show of pushing the three foot tall plank of wood onto the ground in, what you assume, is meant to resemble a drawbridge.

"You may enter!"

Kyle looks amused and slightly disturbed. The monastery was small at least but... how much of the forest is going to be used to make this?

Vicnan, keeping his hands free, strides in confidently.

The goblins did not respond to your jibe, though you're not sure if they understood it either, and instead motioned you inside.

Well... If you wanted to compare the inside and outside of the structure you'd be forced to admit that the outside looked much better. Various construction materials were scattered about in no logical orderings. There were also the beginnings of a ballista (you think) laying next to a stool in which sat a bugbear. Large and fluffy with a large two handed hammer by his chair. He smiled at you, as you note that he seems to be missing the majority of his teeth and the ones that are still around are yellow, before he speaks "Welcome! Welcome! I see you are all here. Yes, my advisor has done an excellent job. I suspect that you have something for your rightful king?"

Vicnan looks incredulous at the hobgoblin's claim. "You lay claim to all the nations of the world?! As a citizen of Barley, you are not my king, and I am not your vassal."

Kyle's eye twitches. Whether it's at the bugbear's claim or Vican one can not be sure.

A strange rumbling sound, that you can only assume was a laugh, occurred in the Bugbear's throat "The world is mine whether you agree to it or not. But that is not the purpose of our meeting. You have something that belongs to me. I want it."
