Captain Grey seems to be frantic at this point "Don't lie to me boy! What do you know about it? Tell me everything! NOW!"

"Um... It's cerimonial and important to the tribe and the monks?"
Kyle says with a shrug and a confused look.

[Nerjin]

"Yes..." The Captain appears to have calmed considerably "Very important. We need to head back."

Kyle sighs.
"What? Is it ANOTHER magical artifact thing? Who made them if that's the case? Some insane wizard that liked his tea?"

[Nerjin]

The Captain pauses for a long second "So you do know." It wasn't a question. "Men stronger than you have tried and failed to keep it. It's safest with the monks. No mortal can ignore his call. I'll tell you right now: Leave the teapot alone." His tone was far too somber for the boisterous captain.

Kyle blinks.
"Wait... I got it pretty much spot on with a random guess?"

[Nerjin]

"You don't need to lie boy. If the Monk told you all this he must trust all of you enough. That's... Foolish but there's no need for any killing yet. Just don't try to steal the thing. Like I said... No mortal can handle it."

"Why would I lie now? I really had no idea about the whispering thing until you told me. Although I will listen to the advice."
Kyle gently rubs his egg.

"Beggin' yer pardon, cap'n, but what about something that ain't precisely mortal flesh-and-blood like you or I?"

[Nerjin]

"I suppose it wouldn't be tempted. Why?"

"We-ell~. On the way here, may have been that we happened across a right strange creature, shaped like a talkin' skull. Fellow called himself a 'beholder', whatever in blazes that means, said he was a curator though I didn't see much in the way of curing from him. Said he was some sort o' collector of curiosities, said he had a teacup belongin' to some sort o' dragon monk or summat, and wanted the pot to match," Lora paused, licking her lips, "He did a right lot of sayin', really. Anyhow, that be fittin' with 'decidedly non-mortal', eh?"

Kyle seems to be in deep thought for a few moments.
"Oh fuck, now that I think about it, we really should keep the teapot away from those goblins. Yeah, the curator would probably be a good person to give it to. Immortal AND he can kill anything trying to steal from him apparently."

[Kassire]

"Aye, I agree with Kyle. The curator would be the best owner of the pot."

[Nerjin]

"What in the nine hells is a Beholder? Dragon Monk? I don't know." The Captain seems to be in thought "Though... He just might be able to help us if he is undead and as powerful as you say he is... We should ask the monks first however. They know about this pot more than I."
