"I am not a beholder any longer. Call me The Curator if you must have a name however. Being associated with their rabble leave a foul taste in my mouth." a noise resembling the hiss of steam emenates from the Curator in something resembling a laugh "But I could tell you where the man you're looking for went. I assume he was the one who brought the goblin horde through here yesterday. He was wiser than they as you can tell by the fact that no human skeletons are here attempting to steal from my collection. But, halfling, the wand is the only offer I'm giving you. Unless you can name something you want. I am willing to barter."

Flipping the coin into the pile, the halfling pulls out the wand.

"Excellent. Now, if you don't mind I have my own proposition if you have the time to listen." The Curator says as he watched the magical coin sink into the coin pile as though it were in quicksand.

"Several ages ago, when I was young and alive, I started my collection. During that time I had a tea-cup belonging to a Dragon Shaman." The Curator pauses for a moment before he adds "You are too young to know the difference. A dragon shaman would be the equivilant of an Emperor's favored subordinate and not someone who studies the long dead dragons. Regardless, the tea-cup is still in my possession. However, I have learned of a group of nearby monks who have managed to procure the Tea Pot. Obviously they will refuse to work with someone of my... Description. If you can retrieve it from them I would be willing to pay your entire group handsomly. As well as any price the monks may ask for. My collection must be complete. Here is a small taste of what is to come if you fulfill the task. An absolutely miniscule representation in fact." at this the pile of gold trembled briefly before a large section of it spewed forth golden coins like a geyser. The coins landed next to each member of the party in easily counted piled of twenty. A quick estimate would indicate each party member recieved 200 gold pieces.

"That is simply for accepting. If you come back with the Tea Pot I will grant you much more gold as well as a few choice items from my personal collection. I tire of bartering however, so I'll send you on  your way. The man you seek ran north. From what I gathered the Goblins were attempting to drive him towards one of their camp."
