Ride gloriously back home, try to amaze our friends with the light.
Idly leave finger in bowl on the drive back.  This will undoubtedly give our finger miraculous healing abilities.

Roll = 6

As your newfound contraption rolls down a hill and towards your home cavern, you come up with yet another brilliant idea. Commending yourself on how much of a genius you are tonight, you deftly place your finger in the bowl, right in the middle of the lunar rays that you're quite certain are contained within. Of course you can't see them, but such power must transcend mortal senses and intelligence.

You pull up at the mouth of the cavern, which is lightly occupied by fellow tribesmen bathing in the moonlight and socialising. All slit-pupiled eyes are immediately drawn to you and your invention as you skid to a halt, kicking up a small hail of dirt that covers an unlucky moonbather. He hisses in anger and rolls to his feet, but his vexation is rapidly abated when he sees exactly what interrupted his rest.
"Great news, fellow men of the Trl'gr'qan!" you exclaim enthusiastically, clambering off your vehicle nonchalantly and holding your bowl up victoriously - compared to the healing powers you're sure you now have, the thing you rode in on is essentially hatchling-tier. "I've found the cure to all wounds!"

Yg'jiv, a young hunter, pushes his way to the fore of the gathered crowd and beckons your attention. "Powerful shaman!" he states with respect, bowing his head and his tail simultaneously. "My hand was torn by a woodland creature not two rises ago! Can you aid me?" With a gleeful hiss and a welcoming beckon, you call the injured hunter over and take the hand that he presents. It's by no means a debilitating injury - indeed, it's already begun to heal admirably - but regardless, this is an ideal test of the magnitude of your powers. How do you proceed?

SHOVE our improved finger into the wound while improvising some tribal chants.

SHOVE our improved finger into the wound while improvising some tribal chants.

Roll =  6

With a grand gesture and a few improvised chants that not even you quite understand, you drive your talon directly into Yg'jiv's wound and immediately undo all the hard work his body had put into healing and sealing it. He grimaces in clear pain, but knows better than to show further weakness than that in front of the other men of the tribe. Then, before your very eyes, the miracle you had never doubted begins to transpire.

You feel your oversized claw gradually being forced out of the wound as it seals itself rapidly, tissues and scales binding back together far faster than they would have done without the immense power of the third moon aiding them. Within mere seconds, you unsheath your finger from the young one's hide and the now-miniature hole rapidly becomes no hole at all. Damaged scales return to their original viridian hues and even droplets of blood suddenly evaporate. There's absolutely nothing left behind to suggest that Yg'jiv was ever injured or that he had been healed in such a fashion.

The hunter's relief is palpable as he looks up at you excitedly, forgetting his manners as he allows his tail to flick and whip around, expressing his happiness at this turn of events that he obviously hadn't quite expected to happen. Pleased at yourself upon realising that you've sealed another wayward tribesman's faith in the third moon, you turn back to the impressed crowd after bidding Yg'jiv goodbye. How do you proceed?

Order the sacrifice of Yg'jiv to the stars

Roll = 1

As the crowd of hissing tribesmen await your next words on the subject, you realise with a start that the third moon must be repaid for the service it has done you in giving you such potent powers. You certainly don't want them stripped from you for not paying your dues after all. You convey this sentiment to the crowd, who express their general agreement. One older hunter inqures, "But what will sate the moon, shaman?" You've already considered and answered this question in your own mind before it was even asked. "There is only one way!" you respond over-enthusiastically, pulling the ceremonial dagger from within your robes and toying with its sharp tip. "We must repay the moon with the life-force of he who most recently borrowed from it!"

You level the dagger at Yg'jiv, who's still stood timidly in the crowd. He looks understandably alarmed, but the scaly ranks of primitive tribals close behind him and he is shoved out into your presence once more. It goes without saying that he doesn't look ready to comply with your slightly sudden request for his eternal soul, but the crowd of tribesmen to his rear look quite ready to back up your will if need be. You back out slightly from the mouth of the cave, aiming to get a more open spot in which to perform the elaborate ceremony that you're still trying to improvise the proceedings of. He begins to inch his way towards you, coming to understand that he has no choice in the better. He's almost made his own way out of the cave when the red sky of dawn gives way to the morning and the first ray of sunlight coats everything outside the cavern's shade, you included.

The sun is gigantic - at its midday height, it takes up almost the entirety of the sky and punishes the planet below with its mere gargantuan presence. Even just the tip of its upper reaches cresting the eastern valley hints easily at its immense stature. Of course, no member of the tribe truly knows how large the star governing their planet is, for its rays are so punishing that any organic matter stood beneath them is reduced to cinders in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately for you, your people qualify as organic matter.

You realise what's going on with horror as you catch sight of your own elongated shadow and are immediately blinded when you turn to face the impossibly large celestial body rearing its head. The power of the moon pales utterly in comparison to such a massive and cruel construction of gas and heat, so your newfound powers are of no help as you immediately burst into violent flames, each component of your body reaching its flashpoint temperature in a matter of seconds. Your screams immediately become croaks, then hoarse, smoky gasps as your internal fluids boil away and you are rapidly incinerated. Your life ceases in unbearable agony and your body collapses in a blazing heap, soon to be reduced to nothing more than the very same charcoal you had been drawing with at the onset of the night.

Yg'jiv is barely spared such a fate by the lip of the cavern's shade and bounds back into the cave as soon as you catch fire, screeching in alarm. Your fellow tribesmen, assuming that your sudden death constitutes a celestial denial of your will, spare the young hunter and rapidly follow him back into the cool depths of the cavern.

I'll be going to bed at this point, but expect me to return in approximately nine hours with Scenario IV. I hope to see you all contribute as enthusiastically and creatively to it as you've been doing with the past three. See you then!

It's all your fault, TamerVirus. Completely and utterly. It's completely unlikely that I in any way supported any sort of thing killing our characters.

Not at all.

...Right?

Scenario IV
Gunnar Grettisson, Norse warrior
Shores of Northumbria, England
796AD

An unexpected heave in the coastal waves causes your longship to buck like a disobedient horse, knocking a few fellow warriors on their feet and pulling your senses back into reality. Inhaling deeply, you take in the salty sea air mixed with the similarly salty sweat of the band of fierce raiders crammed on the decks alongside you. Drumbeats and gregarious shouts periodically pierce the air as the rowing crew picks up speed and the shores of England soon become visible beyond the dawn mist. With a triumphant roar from your chieftain, the ship speeds up further and prepares to close the final gap between the seas and immeasurable plunder.

You make yourself ready and adjust your helmet, clasping a cheap hatchet in one hand and a sizeable round shield in the other. How do you proceed from here?

When the ship hits land, go straight for the temple or church.  Everyone knows that that's where the best loot is.

When we get there, grab one maiden and go to temple, loot the temple and loot the maiden.
