Assist Katelyn with medical stuff.

((It's already done--look at her statuses.))

What materials can the 3D printer print with? Also, see what exactly the genetic modifier does.

The printer is surrounded by crates containing large spools of silvery metallic string, while the genetic lab contains a device labelled 'DNA Inserter' as well as several incubators for bacterial samples and some scanning equipment connected to a desktop computer.

Try to randomly insert DNA. Couldn't hurt, right?

Go get a new set of clothing, put the old set in a laundry machine, then go looking for food to replace what I lost. Also plan how I might clean up the vomit on the floor.

[2] The Inserter reads an error: 'No Sample Loaded'

Retrieve a first aid kit for future usage; go look around for food stocks, afterwards.

Roll 12 - Zero Gravity Funhouse

((Why do you tempt me so?!?))

Grab grabber.

[3]
+2 (cunning)
+1 (Decadence)
+1 (Melons)
+1 (Kleptomaniac)
-3 (Object is being held)
/11 = ~3

You crawl up behind the unsuspecting janitor, and somehow snatch the grabber out of his hand without him noticing. You have no idea how that actually worked out.

Go get a new set of clothing, put the old set in a laundry machine, then go looking for food to replace what I lost. Also plan how I might clean up the vomit on the floor.

You reserve a room for yourself, finding a pen inside a drawer with which to scribble out your name on a note and attach to the door. You keep the pen with you.

Inside the laundry section, you notice a warning written on the floor in bright yellow text: DO NOT OPERATE MACHINERY IN FREE-FALL

Well, of course. Who would try to wash their clothes while the ship is falling?

It seems our hero has yet to brush up on spacefaring terminology.

After finding some new clothes and setting your old ones to wash, you scrounge a bit through the various storage closets and rooms, procuring a trusty mop and a sealed canister of water. The top of the canister is unlocked and unscrews readily, although on top of the cover is yet again the warning about free-fall: DO NOT OPEN CONTAINER IN FREE-FALL

Do they really not trust their janitors at all?

Go get a watermelon, and get some watermelon DNA.

huehuehue

[2] Backtracking to the kitchen, you find all of the slices already missing and the rinds most likely deposited into the composing chute. Instead of getting the DNA from the fruit, you go back to the garden and pluck a leaf off of a watermelon plant, taking it to the computer desk and inserting it into the sampling tools. You get a small vial of clear fluid, which you assume contains the melon DNA.

You put the vial into the DNA inserter, only to have it throw another error, this time one that can be overridden:
No target dish loaded. Continue?

Retrieve a first aid kit for future usage; go look around for food stocks, afterwards.

You take a first aid kit with you and leave the infirmary to find food stocks. As you enter the hall, Philbert walks by, holding a leaf.

[4]
+3 (Diplomacy)
/9 = ~5

You ask him where he got the leaf, to which he replies that he got it from the hydroponics section. Curious, you start walking along the deck, past Manufacturing and all the command equipment, until you find a greenhouse of sorts, where plants are grown and harvested in a fully automated fashion--an engineering nightmare, what with all the moisture present. This further piques your curiosity, but at least it answers the question of where your food is coming from. A nearby storage room contains hundreds of crates full of supplies, and inside another large room you find a machine that reprocesses organic matter to be dissolved into the water.

You've come a considerable distance from the med-bay. Perhaps devising a system of faster transit would be appropriate, as walking hundreds of meters is not exactly practical in a medical emergency.

((This god damn gas giant is like gigantic if the gravity well is like double the size of earth orbit..... ))
VEX leave the bridge and go back down the elevator, then walk around the cryospace.

[5] Walking is near impossible in the cryospace, but you do get some exercise bouncing around between walls. You're starting to get the hang of it, in fact.

Yes. Try to 3D print a seax, as well.

Look around for a science, engineering, or construction section I suppose!
((Everyone was around for when the map was displayed. You have either lab or manufacturing.))

Wonder where my grabber went. Go exercise, even if it means simply jogging around the ring or bouncing from wall to wall.
