Look around in closets for anything small. Examine radio, try to open it (any screwdrivers for that?).

I honestly don't see it as necessary to kill off the bacteria immediately, but it's your action ^^))

Look for bacteria suitable for fermentation and mash gaps with bacteria in sterile container. Finding none mash gaps by themselves and pray to Bacchus there is enough natural bacteria on the outsides of the grapes.

((gaps == grapes?))

Examine any consoles or other equipment in this room. What was his reason for suicide? There must have been something else that triggered him to kill himself.

Roll 6 - Floaty Circles

Look for bacteria suitable for fermentation and mash gaps with bacteria in sterile container. Finding none mash gaps by themselves and pray to Bacchus there is enough natural bacteria on the outsides of the grapes.

[Luck: 3] There are no bacterial samples present, although there is a fresh supply of grapes. You noticed that there are actually several vines, each grown in compartments separated based on simulated season. As you collect grapes, you hear a faint noise coming from some of the flowers in a nearby compartment.

Bees.

Look around in closets for anything small. Examine radio, try to open it (any screwdrivers for that?).

[Luck: 1] For some reason, the workshop is not stocked with manual screwdrivers with '+' heads. You take a cordless power drill, but fail to find a battery for it in the immediate vicinity.

[Find small objects: 4] You find several sets of nails, screws, bolts, washers, and nuts. There also seems to be a storage room with entire rooms of the stuff, locked away in metal bins.
There is also plenty of bar and rod stock that can be sliced down. There is a horizontal band saw in the middle of the workshop for that purpose.

Do whatever it is the GM hinted I should do.

Wishing to get sterilization out of the way as soon as possible, our hero locates a console at the door to his chamber, displaying controls for air pressure and ventilation.

[Sterilize Room: 3] The console responds to your commands, although it projects the time until the pressure reaches a near-vacuum to be about thirty minutes. Until then, the door is locked and cannot be unlocked.

However, most of the bacteria should be dead by then, as should other microbes. Except tardigrades. Those things are terrifying.

((Welp it would bee nice to see taht mechanic before my attempt, too late now.))

[Think fast: 5] Glancing behind you, you notice a glint of red peeking out of a grey cylinder, mounted to the wall. You pull away the extinguisher--which seems to be held in place by a magnet--and spray its contents over the smoking console. The fire goes out, although the smell of crisp circuitry eludes you. The actual fire itself must have not been too bad.

Holding the extinguisher in your hands, you notice that it lacks any sort of labelling, although there does seem to be a white, glossy sticker fused to the surface. It is difficult to peel off.

Scouring the cabinets, you find some unmarked spray bottles with a straw on the top. A quick test run indicates that it is computer cleaner, so you use it to clean out the computer and cause a vortex of dust to blow out of the case and into the room. Zaynab and Katelyn express discontent at the air being made more difficult to breath.

New Miniquest: Fast Reflexes (Respond to danger: 1/3)

Examine any consoles or other equipment in this room. What was his reason for suicide? There must have been something else that triggered him to kill himself.

The bridge is fairly small, much smaller than what you see in the movies and on military hardware. Then again, those are huge battleships and not self-contained colonial vessels. There are four screens, one being the dashboard, and one being a touch-enabled radar display, displaying a large green object at a 90% angle to the ship's orientation.

The other two screens are currently off. One belongs to the computer Vex was *trying* to fix, while the other belongs to a computer hidden inside the desk. Opening the compartment reveals a cable which, when plugged into a socket located on the inner wall of the compartment, seems to satisfy the dashboard's request for a missing module.

The dashboard now works normally, but the monitor attached to the real navigation computer is not turning on. [5] A quick search indicates that monitor simply wasn't plugged in, and now the navigation computer displays a map:

The computer reads that the ship is currently located in orbit over Omicron Illiad 676e.

New Miniquest: Scrupulous (Find small/hidden objects: 1/3)

Fashion two poles about .75 and half of a meter long out of the rod stock,  one to be used as a weapon (just in case) and the shorter one to try and whack open one of the bins. Before the whacking, look for a key to unlock the bins.

((Can you give more info on the ship location or do i need to look at the console and put in commands? Info like where are we in the system, our speed and heading and delta v calc table.))

[1+1+1+3/11 = ~3] You recognize the software and interface. After a long while, the computer spits out a table of basic DeltaV costs to travel between the various moons, although it is not yet finished gathering measurements for the other planets. Most of the ship's sensors are focused on scanning the planet...

Sensors

The Anaxagoras has 20 sensor booms mounted at various points at the hull, constantly scanning and receiving information. Each boom offers sensor strength, which can be allocated toward different tasks. Any tasks require a certain number of sensor points to complete, and each sensor power translates to one sensor point per month.

Sensors are delicate and complicated instruments, and maintaining them in perfect condition is important, as without proper astronomical measurements, you might crash. Or worse!

Current Sensor Display (will be added to Sensor Display Module):

Current Sensor Power: 20
+20 from base

Sensor Tasks:
-Scan Omicron Illiad 676 a (0/15) +0
-Scan Omicron Illiad 676 b (0/12) +0
-Scan Omicron Illiad 676 c (0/9) +0
-Scan Omicron Illiad 676 d (0/6) +0
-Construct Navigational Map of System (0/3) +0

Please allocate sensor power

Sleep

When your characters are finished planning for the near future, you may sleep for a certain number of months. This will tick all fuel and supply consumption values.
Typically, you should sleep until a trip or some sensor work is finished. Then, your team will wake up. The computer will wake the team up if anything important happens.

Vex look at the data then start setting up the sensor [Point A at the planet and c,d at two closer moon and set the last one to sweep for the next wormhole/jump point] (I assume we are in a stable orbit) Then say "Damn this piece of drifting hunka junk, even the nav comp dont work properly. Mat would never let anything like this happen." Then he start talking into the radio R:-" So guys We are in O-I 676 e, orbiting the inner most planet, am setting the sensor to look for useful info while sweeping for out next checkpoint."

((also sleeping will net us good wine hopefully :P))
