I don't see a problem here; they're just all about the unsubstantiated machismo!  :P

Saving abducted children is ridiculously hard.
Especially if they are politely asking you to deliver them from one evil fortress to another evil fortress.
I cannot find the uncle for this kid anywhere, and I nearly had my head pulled off by the master.

What's funny is when you attack someone and everyone around them is like "Townperson 1(to Townperson 2): Just now, adventurer attacked Townperson 3!" repeated for however many people are there.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

I'm a religious fanatic! I get to start conversations with "Life is, in a word, fire."

I got to be one as well. I usually said "Praise Nightmares" or "Life is, in a word, Healing."

I've tried putting basically everything to its bottom rung and making pocket worlds, doesn't seem to help much.
Do you make long history?

I tried a pocket sized world with a very short history, could still only play one adventurer before Calendar crashing ensued.

That happened to me, too. I think it has to do with your adventurer dying somehow- it works fine if you just retired them.

Happens to me as well. Which is unfortunate when you do things like jump into a well because you think there may be bandits in there.

There were no bandits.

I've managed to adventure as a goblin without modding the game in a world with 400+ years of history now.

Toady did a really good job with the generated dwarf fortresses.

I wonder if the game has become odd.

He even properly simulated catsplosions... I'd say those need to be fixed, but catsplosions are a major problem IRL, so its just awesome instead.

Night creatures have gotten stronger and faster than before hand. One kicked my adventure's head and it collapsed.

Quick fix for the 'everything is large' clothing / armour bug, if it isn't widely known already: Make yourself large! Change the race size for dwarves, goblins, and elves from 60000 to 70000.

Does not require regen.

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.

Couldn't get out of the starting fortress yet...fast-travel does not seem to help.

Conversations are kinda weird now...why does that guy hate me?

Also I think the Surturer was yelling something, there were yellow !s, but I couldn't figure out how to listen...
