Started it up and took a look at dwarven thoughts. I feel completely overwhelmed, it was bad enough before and now it's even more overwhelming

Gods turn out to be in league with demons, as it turns out. From legends:

Laltur the Ace of Confidence was a deity that occurs in the myths of The Net of Scribes. Laltur was most often depicted as a male dwarf and was associated with war and fortresses.

In a time before time, Laltur aided the brass brute Amal Lowsavants the Poetic Insights in becoming a permanent part of the living world that great fortresses might be raised and tested in siege.  The ritual took place in lancelaw using The Free Climax.

Started a new fort.

1. I've got a dwarf that thinks craftdwarfship is stupid...and yet his dream is to make a great work of art. The struggle is real, buddy.

2. A group of mountain goats stumbled upon a bumblebee nest and it spooked them, so they dispersed and ran in different directions. I thought that was pretty cool.

addendum 3: Cavern creatures must be fighting each other. Got a fire man and a giant toad gone missing - I haven't breached the caverns yet.

So these are the new demon sites I've been hearing of.

The Messianic Palace was an underworld spire in Conjuredhate.

In a time before time, the brass brute Amal Lowsavants the Poetic Insights thrust a spire of slade up from the underworld, naming it the Messianic Palance, and established a gateway between worlds in Conjuredhate.

My dwarves, animals, and wildlife are running in terror. The only animals on the screen don't immediately bring this sort of reactions to mind and their descriptions make me think they aren't immediately hostile. River Otters, Longnose Gar, Kiwi Hen, and a Great Horned Owl.

Anyone else when booting up adventure mode(Not sure about fort mode haven't tried) keep having it not respond when "updating world"? It's on a calendar screen.

Well,my game is crashing after talking to one or two npcs so I think it's extremely bugged right now

I think it progresses really slowly.  For the last 30 minutes, the numbers have slowly been changing white towards the blue...thingy.  I think it might just take a while.

He personally views craftsdwarfship with disgust and would desecrate a so-called masterwork or two if he could get away with it and sees competition as wasteful and silly. He dreams of creating a great work of art.

Dwarves are apparently Dada now.
