You could always ask an OOC question in an IC way, Kyle Johnson looks from his position on the tree and to the monastery's roof, trying to judge the distance and the possibility of jumping from the tree to the roof.

I have a plan that may or may not work, depending on how Nerjin rules, and how FD feels about it. I will cover it in two parts.

Part A: If I was to cast Enlarge Person on Lora, I might be able to force the goblins out of their spot and possibly suffer crushing damage, as they are being shoved against the wall by her new girth. This movement might trigger AoOs from all nearby parties. This, combined with the increased damage, but decreased to hit, for Lora, should make short work of that group of gobbos.

Part B: FD, are you cool with this plan?

So... Kyle fell atop Goblin 10... If I'm doing this right Goblin 10 was hit with about 273 pounds of Kyle and Equipment. Kyle fell about 20 feet so that's 2d6 from distance and 1d6 from 200lbs plus 1d6 from the rest of the weight... So this goblin just took 4d6 of damage. How delightful.

That gives me an idea for a new character concept...

Edit: Also, Nerjin, do I know what would happen with Enlarge Person in this scenario?

I've seen leaping into the sky and dropping out of the stratosphere optimized the hella out in the theoretical builds section of another forum.

At level 5, you can do around 10d6 damage per round. At level 20.... I think it was 160d6?

It has to do with the jump being considered a charge, and certain class features. I don't remember exactly.

Hm... Nope. You do know that you can't kill the person you are enlarging however. So Lora will be fine. As for the Goblins you don't have any idea.

I think he means weight wise. How much damage would a falling Enlarged Kyle do to a goblin.  :P

Awesome... Math... Anyways, let's find out.

Every 10 ft. adds 1d6 in damage.

Every 200 lbs adds 1d6 in damage. Kyle [+equipment] weighs about 273 lbs like I said earlier.

Enlarge person multiplies Kyle's weight by 8 and his equipment becomes Large making it weigh double [assuming the increase applies to all items and not just armor.]

Kyle is 240 lbs and his equipment is 33 lbs. 240x8 = 1920 and his equipment is 33 x 2 = 66 lbs.

So all together that's 1986 lbs falling on someone. I like rounding. So Kyle now weighs 2000 lbs. That makes Kyle deal (2000/200 = 10) So Kyle will deal 10d6 from weight regardless of distance.

So Kyle will deal:

11d6 at 10 ft
12d6 at 20 ft
13d6 at 30 ft

etc. etc. Assuming I'm remembering it right.

That's not what I meant, but it's still cool. I was wondering about the crushing thing. Which I'm going to try.

Please don't. Not only does that not benefit me (it reduces my attack bonus and AC) in this situation, but it also means that I won't be able to move through 5' doors unhindered, and it hurts my Hide checks.

Soooo... I've been thinking of adapting a *1.5 exp gain thing. Since it's PbP this game'll take a while. I figured you guys would enjoy leveling up a bit quicker. Thoughts?
