Five first level spells, and 3 2nd level spells?

Is there an issue with that? The gloves are 500 + (5*25) + (3*150) = 500 + 125 + 450 = 1075 gp... I'm trying to keep rewards around the 1000 - 1500gp range. If that makes sense y'know?

Packrat tendencies begin here. It was hard both in and out of character for Lora to not ask about the always-heads-up coin, and she may yet.  :P

Some of those are amusing but unless you're absolutely dead set on it you're likely to only come across Grog of Sufficient Whimsy.

Better than Grog of Minimal Whimsy. Although that does sound fun. Would it basically use the same table as the Grog of Substantial Whimsy but reroll any affects that provide an obvious benefit or an obvious bad thing?

Grog of Substantial Whimsy: 379 = Character only bleeds rainbows.

Grog of Sufficient Whimsy: 379 = Character's blood is rainbow coloured for a week.

Grog of Minimal Whimsy: 379 = Character believes their blood is rainbow colored.

I'm quite okay with that. It actually sounds like a lot of fun.

So if you rolled on of the power increases enough would the whimsy of the effect be increased to substantial?

No, it would probably just double the duration. I don't like hardcore changes to characters like that. Most of the Sufficient's affects would be... well sufficiently whimsical but allow you to keep adventuring like normal.

I just realized something. With the whole DnD Tools thing and not being able to access it, I cant progress Jernak anymore in Swashbuckler and a plethora of other classes. I do have complete divine and a couple other books I borrowed from a friend, so I guess I could make a new character with the books I do have.

Yeah, it's a sad time. Options now are basically as follows:
1. Rely solely on SRD (which is still available on other, lesser sites) + stuff which is described but not quoted on various forums (notably BrilliantGameologists, GitP, &c.) possibly with help from those of us with source material to reference things of interest.

2. Spend lodes'a'monee buying the books you need.

3. Cheapskate it by taking notes out of the books in the store without getting caught.

4. Arr. (for obvious reasons I'm going to say that I absolutely do not endorse this course of action here and will not do so anywhere it's against the ToS).
