Question, can the flechette units move and then fire? Or can they only fire or move?

Fire or Move.

You could change it later though, or make some trade-offs for it with any further flechette units you make.

Nother question: Could we get the enemy units numbered in the future? Could make it easier.

Also we could reuse numbers and letters for our units.

Yeah, I can number them in the future. Will give them...green tiles I suppose.

I will not be reusing numbers or letters, I like to use it to identify the ones who have lived longer. You can give them names/icons if you dislike the current identifiers though.

Question on how examining works: does it result in a cumulative buildup knowledge or does one examine give everything?

3: Move NE, Dash E E E Attack NE
8: Move SE, Dash E
2: Move NE
A: Move E
B: Move E
1: Manifest Antiforeign

This will kill another soldier. The survivor might kill 3, in which case he'll be in range of 8. Or he may flee in which case we can just keep chasing him.

Query: What is energy? Could we consume a body (or just food generally) to use as energy?

How different would the results be from studying their corpse?

Probably would have been able to get Lesser Soul.

So we should capture one of them alive?

Energy is pretty much around to keep you both active and limited. So I can't really let you just spend all your time hunting animals or eating grass. But I suppose you could get energy if you hit a warehouse filled with food or something. If you can come up with something that has a limited supply and is semi-difficult to get, then I will most likely allow you to use it for energy.

... Wait, could he have a shadow make more shadows?

If you want to annoy the GM, yes. I'm guessing I could keep track of up to 8 or so Shadows. Maybe 10 if I really push it. You can manifest the ability to make Shadows(native, otherwise same as from portal), and making one would take 3 energy.

can 3 hit the lower soldier with a bone fletcher?

3 can hit either of the soldiers with its flechettes. Cover would be pretty useless if he couldn't, basically think of 3 as being 1 tile N for shooting purposes.
