TIL that someone's stage name is Joey Bada$$.  No, I'm not trying to self-sensor - that's the actual name.

I wonder how many databases have issues with such a name  :D

It made me smile more than I thought I could given my mood today...

Guy's a rapper, yes. I've heard a bit of his music; not bad, but just not my thing. My bro introduced me to him, but he's a bit of a rap-head anyway; it's inevitable that he'd stumble upon him. I wonder what legacy databases write his stage name as. "Joey Dollarsigns"? "Joey Bada\u0024\u0024"?

Hahaha. Up until 2016, the Vatican has been investing heavily in the Swiss pharma company Novartis.
Their daughter company Sandoz specializes in producing abortion pills and the morning after pill.

At the same time, they lobby heavily against all forms of abortion. According to the catholic church dogma, catholic women who had an abortion are excommunicated.

The irony.

This incredible pseudocode my buddy wrote for a project proposal.

Code: [Select]
3. While entry Not Equal To “N” AND Not Equal To “n”
3.1. Display “Enter the item code:”
    3.2. Read itemCode
3.3. Display “Quantity of item in stock:”
    3.4. Read itemQuantity
    3.5. If itemCode = “W001” then
        3.5.1. itemQuantity1 = itemQuantity
        3.5.2. itemValue1 = itemQuantity * 8.6
        3.5.3. If itemQuantity < 169 then
        3.5.4. purchaseQuantity1 = 169 –itemquantity
        3.5.5. purchasePrice1 = purchaseQuantity1 * 8.6
        3.5.6. Else
            3.5.6.1. purchaseQuantity1 = 0
            3.5.6.2. End If

BASIC ain't got shit on this line numbering. Look at the "Not Equal To" operator, fully spelled out. Exquisite.

The best part is that this is legitimately how you're supposed to do it; he's following the example proposal to a tee. Not even joking.

Wow. That's... Is that satire? That's almost too on the nose.

Simply stunning.

This incredible pseudocode my buddy wrote for a project proposal.

I like how the indentation and numbers get bigger with the "else" statement. Imagine having 10+ "else if" statements.

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.

The indentation was me doing a Python (even though I'm supposed to be learning C++). The numbers, however, are verbatim.

I took out my horse in BoTW, and now it's stuck in the water, pacing back and forth. Goddamnit, U+1F40E. Look:

Thankfully, a save and reload is enough to free U+1F40E from their Sisyphean hell.
