...I'm still clinging to the belief that modern-day Britland has civilized parts. If Australia is the last bastion of proper tea drinking, things are pretty grim.

A strainer, or a tea-fish (also called something else, I can't remember) for a single cup.
Works just as well, and you don't get that gross taste from the bag!
