Is that some kind of larger mechanic or is it literally just this one guy?

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

It can happen to any non-story enemy in the (optional?) mega-dungeon on days marked as "flu season" as far as I can tell.

My foot must have been exceedingly sexy. I got like 20+ of them that way, just sitting still and waiting for them to land underneath it. And i figured it was a pheromone thing but its still highly amusing how they just kept showimg up, and very few of them even checked out my shoe, most just went straight for the bodies. Figured out where theyve been nesting too and sprayed that.

IIRC when hornets die they release "big threatening monster present" pheromones, which attract other hornets so they can investigate.

If you crushed a hornet even a bit too late, it might have been over for you.

Any reasonable animal would release "stay away" pheromones.

Hornets are not reasonable.

They give no fucks and feel no mercy or fear.

There was a large hornet (about 2.5 inches long) in my back yard.  It was orange red. I nicknamed it Bogan because it would aggressively buzz up in my face as if to say "YOU WANT A FUCKIN GO CUNT" before flying off. It never stung me. We had so many good times, me and that hornet.

I was once watching a smaller but also quite large wasp struggling to carry a dead beetle twice its size. It would fly up in an arc and drop down because it couldn't handle the weight. Bogan caught wind of this and buzzed to it, stinging it and carrying off BOTH.

Where are you, Bogan? I miss you.  :'(

It should have corrected to "where".

You meant "where" there. Maybe grammar checker thought "were" was wrong there, but then the spell checker didn't know what to recommend so gave "we're"

Maybe his spell checker autocorrects "where" to "were" and "were" to "we're".

My phone's spellchecker automatically corrects every "its" to "it's", regardless of context. Which is incredibly annoying if you actually grammar.

"its" is still something I'm a little conflicted on. Following grammar rules there really should be an apostrophe in either case, right?

"It" isn't a proper noun, so when "it" is possessive of something, it doesn't get an apostrophe.

In short: Yes, but fuck you.
