I'm reading my old posts, from when I actually played DF. Apparently, one fort was doing so badly that I had to trade dozens of chert boulders for some plump helmet seeds.

Pretty much all of my first hundred forts started (and ended) that way too.

Today however while playing Ark: survival evolved I was building a wall when I noticed something sticking its head through one of the walls behind me. It turns out it was a female therizinosaur, just walked into my wall and stayed there permanently as if it can't move. I have a self-mounted wall trophy.

I know these fuckers are vicious as all hell, and it did agro me, but its hard to care when its got its head stuck in a wall

In the Assassin's Creed game series, the titular creed is "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted." The linked book's title, Nothing is True and Everything is Possible, is rather similar to that.

In the games, the Assassins are a secret organization that seeks to bring peace through freedom. The Templars are a secret organization that seeks to bring peace through order. They use very similar techniques (assassination, espionage, blackmail...) to try and reach these goals. I'd say comparing them to the KGB and the CIA is not that far-fetched.
