Immediately rushed to see update. Was not disappointed.
The thing is brutally difficult though. Mines are just the worst type of enemy weapon.

I'm betting something terrible happened or at least extremely demoralizing? If not in this specific instance, but in the recent past?

Can I be that one stupid villain nobody even remembers? :3
You can be... shit, what was his name?

Trying to remember really old Batman films here. What was the one with Jim Carrey in it, and the guy who kept out-Jim-Carreying Jim Carrey? You're that guy.

The Keaton/Kilmer Batman films are only moderately old (being, as they are, newer than the 1966 Adam west film)

Pretty sure they're older than me, so that makes them ancient history as far as I'm concerned.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I can't be assed to make another age joke but be assured this one would have involved being a time traveler.

As far as things that have made me laugh, this(risque picture alert) story about a succubus trying to become a paladin has done so repeatedly. Sometimes through humor and other times odd typing errors.

The errors are so consistent I feel they must be intentional examples.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I think they've just never heard of the Oxford comma.
