At reminded me of the Steven King short story about a couple who overnights in a small town USA area.

It rained razorfrogs and they were killed.

It was apparently a ritual.

I wonder which one would be larger though if you made both currencies equal?

SO rounding down with the Aussie debt clock (5000000000000$ I think) Translate that to American dollars (4148075000000.00$) compare that to the rounded down version of the American Debt (59000000000000$).
Yhea, It's a bit more.

I went to Cairns a couple of years ago with my family. We went to the Daintree whilst we were at it and went on a night walk through the rainforest.

We all held up torches near our heads. All those points of light on the trees. Huntsman spiders everywhere!

It was great though.

That's nothing. Spiders in my region average the size of lightswitch panels (5-6 in. diameter/legspan). Doesn't help that they're as smart as they are large. Fortunately, I have cats that patrol the house, and corners so dusty, not even the most hardcore vermin can survive for a night (found either a bunch of leftover moltings, or dead spiders from suffocation). Which reminds me, I need to clean my room.

You guys should all come to New Zealand. No snakes, no[t many] poisonous spiders, no murderous rodents... only a few keas.

Yeah, keas are pretty bad. They're worse IRL though, because legally we can't riddle them with bullets.
