Wait is 5'9" short?

I'm 5'6" and I'm pretty sure I'm considered tall.

5'6" is very short for a dude. Although not like, midget.

Of course, that's all based on geographical location. I have no idea what it's like where you are.

For the greatest majority of the world, 5'6" will be below average height, I would imagine. Example: I think 5'9" is average for the UK.

I just measured myself with a tape measure(and none too accurately) and I think I'm around 5'6", 5'7". Never once did I ever feel short, nor do I now.

I checked for the first time in ages and apparently I'm 6'1" (184cm.) I feel less short already, though it makes me slightly more unhappy with my slight build.

I'm 6'2"+. I have inherited a curse from my uncle such that it doesn't look like I'll actually stop growing until I'm unreasonably old. I haven't bothered checking my height recently.
