I revealed to a bunch of people that I own a vuvuzela. They immediately started spinning a teasing story of how I flew to South Africa to end apartheid while watching a soccer match, and got back home by lunchtime. With every telling, the tale became taller and taller, until everyone collapsed into heaps of laughter.

I'll be honest, I expected the 'alternate version' to just be 'BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'.

I think it says a lot about the vuvuzela that it's literally illegal in public spaces where I live.
