The moon is really just the sun at nighttime. It has to sleep, too.
I like to think of eclipses as them fusing, DBZ style.

Found the deleted scenes from The Life of Brian
:D

Honestly though, I'm glad they cut the Suicide Squad scenes before the ending. The joke works better when it's faking you out that they are the other kind of crack suicide squad.

...which isn't part of the Fate series.  :P
I seem to remember some comment by the creator about that in response to how he was good at writing strong female characters where he said that he was actually really bad at writing strong female characters, but was instead good at writing strong characters that he would then randomly make female. :P

That's the same way Ripley from Alien was created.

My plan (if I ever work out a setting and plot I don't end up detesting) for writing fiction has been to design all the major characters, their roles, personalities, relationships, skills &c. as gender-neutral. Once that's done I flip a coin for each to assign gender and fill in the details as I write.

AFAIK, yeah. Something like the forlorn hope in the military parlance, the idea being that a non-literal suicide squad is going into a mission with the assumption they are more likely to die than be extracted/rescued. In other words, a squad which takes on suicide missions.

And it doesn't hurt that Sicarii, a Jewish organization active in Jesus's/Brian's times, would perform literal suicide strikes a'la modern terrorists, except with more stabbity assassination and being killed by the target's guards and less explosions.

In Spanish class today, our group got some practice with the "would" form of conjugation by writing down the noble things we'd do for a priceless diamond, then having the professor read them anonymously and everybody vote on what they thought was the most noble. One submission sounded... familiar.
Quote from: The wording was something like
Para el diamante, mataria toda la gente mala, como criminales y teroristas (etc. etc.)
which translates to something like
Quote
For the diamond, I would kill all the bad people in the world, like criminals and terrorists...

Ignoring the lack of punctuation, you're grammar's fine.

I can't help but to replace 'Para el diamante' with 'Para una barra de Klondike'.
