They're not placing it in the town though. Just around it.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

...yes? It's not in the town. Why should taxes from the farms go to the town?

Edvard Grieg's Morning Mood was written for a scene in the play Peer Gynt. This song is played all the time in media to portray a lovely morning, birds chirping, sun rising, a peaceful idyllic scene, etc.

Never gonna look at that song the same way again. Thanks, college level music appreciation class.
You know, there's plenty of music that'd suit ape-fighting like a glove. I can say with authority that none of it sounds a thing like Morning effing Mood.

I would make a "what'd he do?" joke here with a link to an user page, but as it turns out, we don't have an user with the handle 'solo'. Bummer.

Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.

Why does nobody love orange? It's a decent colour, nothing wrong with it.

In the flavor text below the comic itself, I decided to snip this little gem:

Edit: Basically, 9 out of 10 of the comics there can at least make me smile.
