There's a small town about ~15 minutes away from where I live, which I often go to for groceries and such. There aren't any main roads between these places though, so it's mostly just narrow country roads that everyone goes down at around 120kph.

One of these roads has a bit of a tree root problem. There are large bumps in the road, and unless you want to wreck your suspension you either have to slow down (annoying) or drive around them (risky). This has been a thing for over a year now, and not really notable given the general state of roads around Christchurch (i.e. paved-over turds).

Now, the council doesn't have the money to reseal roads every time there's a little bump, but apparently people have been complaining about this one. Because today, the council has put up a speed bump sign, like the ones you see in backwater suburbs or busy carparks.
It's a speed bump sign. In the middle of an open road. Warning of tree roots.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Man tries to rob a Walgreens, fails completely.
Its like the clerk looked the robber directly in the eyes and was like "you wouldn't do it."

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

So, apparently as of 2 hours and 10 minutes ago, I've been logged in for one hundred days total. Just found that funny.
