Last night's session of Speedrunners against my brothers and others involved in our game night. Holy crap, that was fun, challenging, and hilarious.

Falcon the Chicken Man (my character; which I might as well consider is Roman Howard (SS13) in his chicken suit getup) is probably the highlight of the game. Best animations of the group, and when I'm at the controls, that chicken can fly (beating Super Meat Boy gives me an edge).

That game is definitely worth the purchase, especially if you're up against equally competent players. Speaking of which, I lost count how many close races I had against my brother. I mean, the sudden death closing walls made the screen the size of a Gameboy screen, and we were still racing at full-throttle the whole time without losing pace, regardless of tripping up on the boxes, walls, boosts, and guessing grapple points to keep up. It was intense. Haven't had as crazy a race like that since Super Laser Racer, and a few sessions of Armagetron (Tron Lightcycles). Speaking of which, we need some Bay12 Armagetron sessions. It's so much fun when you have a bunch of players.
