Eh. Some people are more sensitive to some things. I can stare at absolutely horrific gore without any problem, but the smell of anything stronger than a particularly bad poop will have me reeling and vomiting for the next hour or so.
The thing is, I don't mind gore. I can watch gore and be alright. I can stand some pretty scary stuff, too, because of internet conditioning. Just... Not that.
Sounds pretty standard, honestly. Just try to avoid shock image spammers :P.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

The only website I will ever need again.

Who needs image macros when you have OBJECTIONS?

That's mildly worse than the shock images.

TVTropes linked me to a guy trying to make sense of deadEarth on the RPG.net forum.

One of the mutations Radiation Manipulations in the game has this in the description.
Quote from: deadEarth
Your character now takes no stun from bitch slaps, and your bitch slaps do 2D6 stun. Your bitch slaps may now be done as defensive moves, and do not need to be declared. cost: none. range: self. effect: permanent

Toady linked a French guide to DF on the DF page, and the guide's pretty good.

However, translating it into English gets some funny, mangled results.

Quote from: The guide
If you survived the internal breakdown of your cornea, even if you felt a little thrill of excitement watching this, you are cut out for Dwarf Fortress .
Quote from: The guide
Their life will be marked by the production of food, groundwater exploration, excessive alcohol consumption, trade with humans or elves, goblins fighting cons but against evil darkspawn back from the depths of your tunnel ...
Quote from: The author's translated description
I eat casual, arcade I shit, I sleep indie.
