Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

A little backstory to this, as it rather requires it (and may support my hypothesis over why it's funny)

I was raised a Catholic (no longer practising, I'm an agnostic-theist) and my wife is a Lutheran. She doesn't really practise either, but she's looking for a church.

Anyway, long story short, she's American, I'm Scottish. She went to Scotland for school, and when she came back to America, the pastor from her parents... parish? I don't know what you prods call your district places :P kept calling her to basically tell her about the options in the area around where we were living at the time.

Her pastor is called Pope. Pastor Pope. I... find this to be hysterically amusing, and my mother does too. So is it just because I come from a Catholic background that a protestant called Pope is so very funny?

Would've been better if he was the Pope.

Pope Pope.

Was playing RF: Guerilla, during one of the artillery missiles.
I looked closely at the scrolling text at the left side of the screen, and noticed that it said this:
Quote
This is for text that you can not read. This is for text that you can not read.
etc.

That cracked me up.

You're getting it all wrong - they mean in succession. First the hour of unforgettable pleasure, then you cook her dinner. That's pretty chill all in all.
