Author Topic: So I made all alternative creature types fight each other . . .  (Read 4477 times)

I got board and decided to do some experimenting in object testing arena. I put all "man" creatures (like mantis man, whale man, ect) together in an area to see which one would win in an all out fight. I did the same for all giant versions of creatures as well. I found the results both interesting and informative.

So who won? Well as it turns out for the man version of all creatures it was *drum roll* . . . Elephant seal man! But was this a fluke? No. I tested 2 more times and on all of these tests the winner was indeed Elephant seal man.

As for the giants, it seemed like there were more types available. I placed all together, multiple times. The result of this was . . . Giant elephant seal! It was a good fight to. At first I thought the giant cave spider was going to win since it webbed EVERYTHING and proceeded to kill systematically kill them. But then it was just it and the giant elephant seal left, stuck in the web, struggling. But as it turns out, that little seal won . . . erm big seal, well you know.

Turns out that as far as creatures go, elephant seals are BA! Do not underestimate them. Now to see if an elephant seal man can beat a giant elephant seal.

Or do they? I just tested if a Elephant seal man with grand master in all fighting skills would win in a fight against a giant one and it took it only a few seconds for the elephant seal man to win.

Does the elephant seal win against the other regular animals?

For a while I thought it was going to be a stalemate between the bull elephant seal and bull elephant. The fight lasted a good 5 minutes after all the other animals were slewn. I let it go on and returned to find the elephant standing alone in the area.

Perhaps when the elephant man and giant elephant are finally added, the results of the first two tests will change accordingly.

Wow, I've had this happen in my arena and I thought it was a fluke too. Good to see it's actual science.

*Hint hint*
Also I think that the new combat system may influence that as well...I guess? *shrug*

An adult giant elephant seal is roughly the same size as a regular sperm whale.
So that may explain it.

Question is, what makes the elephant seal so robust? For one, they have size going for them. They are size 3000000, and since I never understood how animal man sizes work, I have to assume the elephant seal man is around the same size as the original. That makes it the biggest animal man I know of that can walk on land. A sperm whale man is 25000000 and would probably murder an elephant seal man's face off, but it will quickly air-drown probably got excluded from your tests for that reason.

On the contrary, I did not exclude sperm whale men from my test and further testing just now shows that they do not air drown.
