Approach crate from the other side. Just in case.

Science is always important. But it needs more flaming cats. Can't we build bridge-based catapults and fling flaming cats at the dust and goo?

It's time for the ATHATH Death Counter to increase once more in celebration for the end of the world.

"Ah, here we are!" Pang smiles happily as he looks about the chamber, wide-eyed. "Interesting!"

>Inspect the cavern for a while, before tottering over to see what the others might discover in the crate.

Look around for cool stuff, then approach crate and look at what's inside.

Derm and Jase head straight for the crate, while Kel approaches warily from the other side

Derm: 3
Jase: 5

While Derm succeeds in enlarging the rotten hole in the box slightly, Jase notices that one of the sides is rather loose and pries it off with ease. Inside of the crate are a few simple weapons and tools made from copper, including:

1x Copper Crowbar (1 handed blunt weapon, +1 to opening things)
1x Copper Rapier (1 handed piercing weapon, wins ties in combat)
1x Copper Revolver (1 handed ranged weapon, can fire twice per round, reloads every 6 shots)
30x Copper Bullets
1x Copper Flail (1 handed blunt weapon, ignores blocking)
10x Copper Throwing Knives (1 handed ranged weapon, can be used for melee)
1x Copper Pike (2 handed piercing weapon, +2 damage against steeds)

Meanwhile, Billy and Pang split up and snoop around the cavern.

Billy: 5
Pang: 2

While Pang doesn't find anything of interest and returns to the group gathered by the newly opened crate, Billy notices that one of the smaller stalagmites isn't a stalagmite at all, and is actually a small bone rod with runes carved all along its length, which he quickly pockets before rejoining his companions.

"Yo Billy, trade you a rapier for the wand. Rapiers are bardlike, right?

In any case, I'll take the gun... The pike to... Jase, I think. Flail for Kel, and a crowbar for Pang I guess? Excellent, and everybody gets a couple knives. Gentelmen, grab your weapons, we have a dungeon to conquor."

Grab the revolver + ammo and the wand if billy decides to give it to me. Wand and Gun, baby. Give the rapier and some knives to Billy.

"Give me two extra throwing knives too and it's a deal."

Trade Derm the bone rod for the rapier and the throwing knives.

"I believe those are more of an 'everybody gets some' deal, but seeing as I have so many ranged capabilities already, I will concede my knives."

((Throwing knives hardly count as a whole thing. They're a secondary weapon at best.))

((That doesn't work if I want to be a gunslinger, which I do. I could speak with a drawl and everything. I'd be like John Wayne. Maybe we should ask Wwolin to settle it, though, since it seems sharing desirable loot, no matter how crappy it is later on, may be difficult.))
