Name: Pang The Wise
Age: 67
Gender: Male
Appearance: A leathery, swarthy-skinned man with a large head and a small, scrawny body. Has a small lump of nose, a thin mouth with just a few teeth remaining but which still forms a large smile quite easily, and just a wisp of fading grey hair on his scalp.
Wears a robe that was once a fine garment of blue silk, embroidered with dragons and other fantastical beasts in gold thread, but now hangs off his body in a mass of tatters and loose threads, a battered leather satchel filled with odds and ends, and a pair of wood-and-string sandals that he made himself. Despite his apparent decrepitude, his blue, almond-shaped eyes are large and bright, staring out of his wrinkled bald potato-like head with a boundless curiousity.
Backstory: Pang, known to those in his distant homeland as The Wise for his near-endless knowledge of the flora, fauna, myths, history, traditions and geology of the area, has worked many trades in his long (by the current standards, given how much war there is, not to mention crazy magicians and hungry monsters) life, from scholar to scoundrel, hunter to healer, tanner to trader, alchemist to alcoholic, bard to barman, fisherman to fistfighter, and woodcarver to wanderer- and the latter profession has spanned to most years of his life, for sure.
Having grown tired of teaching the same old knowledge of the same old land (called Qunz, by the way), Pang set off a short while before his 45th birthday, taking little more than his fine robe, a bag of foodstuffs, a carved wooden smoking pipe and the wooden clogs on his feet. He promised his children (some of whom were having children of their own) and the other people in his village that he would be back before long, before next winter for sure, that he just needed to see what lay over the horizon, past the border of their kingdom.
Unfortunately (for his kin, anyway, who had come to rely on the old fart's knowledge), exploration proved rather addictive to the ever-inquisitive Pang, who found that once he'd seen what was over that horizon he needed to study all the trees, smell the flowers, learn of the creatures that lived there and speak to the people... and once he'd done all that, the next horizon called to him.
And so he went, travelling for many years, seeing many wondrous things and wild places, speaking to many people and smoking many poppy seeds, until his head was so jammed-full of knowledge that he could hardly access any of it in a hurry. In fact, so much so that he could never quite remember how to get back home, or quite why he wanted to- heck, as he aged he tended to even forget what he was doing in the middle of doing it.
Nevertheless, the old man still thirsts for knowledge, and has an undying curiosity and amusement at the things he finds.
This Shimmerstone Grotto both fascinates him with the mysteries and legends surrounding it, and offers him a chance- a chance to ask its resident Djinn to restore his ailing memory. That, that he can remember. The old man would love nothing more than to remember the faces and names of his children again, or his parents, or, admittedly, to cram more knowledge into his overstuffed head.

Name: Kel Dragonscratch
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance: She is tall and thin, with pale skin and short, lifeless black hair. Her nose is sharply hooked while ears are flattened against head. Always bearing a mirthless grin on thin lips, she looks rather creepy despite quite decent looks.
Backstory: After a bandit raid on her hometown, Kel was picked and raised by a cult of demon worshippers - not a decent lot in any way, but quite helpful and reliable otherwise. Years passed and she became full-fledged initiate. Now, she is on a mission of becoming full member of the cult. As for the wish... It could be that it is secondary to the initiation by dungeon itself. Or it might be the primary task given to her by the cult leader. Or even her own dark secret... After all, one can wish for anything...
