Here is my shortlist of spells
Spoiler: Spell compendium (click to show/hide)

I was pretty lazy with my shortlist, so may as well be pretty lazy with allowing them...

Relax, rolep, relax.

Anyway, my (modified) character is almost done.  Just need to select a Step for first level and then I'm golden.

Bleeeergh

It's so hoooot here. I don't even think it's really that hot but the room with my computer is holding in heat even with every window and door open I can find. Argh. It makes me irritable, I apologize.

Okay, since the session is tomorrow, I think this is what we have for a party.

? ? ? the Mystic Hand (Lix Lorn from GitP)

Anaya the Human Sword Dancer (Lucus Casius)

Kem the Gnome Beguiler (Rolepgeek)

Denzel the Human Knight (Tryrar)

Tallak Hruag Jobalat Barohg VII the Kobold Necromancer (RAM)

Therril Somris the Human Ninja (Me)

That is a surprisingly balanced and well-rounded party.

Wait is he an actual Knight or is that just your flavor description?

So many people capable of stealth. Ninja+Beguiler combo should be fun for infiltration, don'tcha think, Barb? >:D

Whoops, he's a fighter. He described the character as a sword-and-board knight, and I just sorta figured.

Oh yeah, Therril is a FIRE ninja. I decided to use that instead of the water ninja variant that is also in DR 354. I'll post the info for that when I can get to a scanner. Instead of becoming invisible, he makes everyone else blind! Also known as Active Invisibility.

Ah, for the record, changed my character's name to Ashera.  And Lix doesn't look like she'll be playing--a very close friend of hers needed her for some other thing on Tuesdays, so she'll probably end up doing that instead.

Probably more of a ray specialist than a necromancer, the necromancy thing probably won't see much use.

In addition to my spell requests, I would like the mother cyst feat to add the spells to my spells known without having to pick them. I found a small debate here...http://www.giantitp.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-59797.html

As I said in the chat, I'm just tossing everything into party funds.  We can divide them based on need later on.

Well, I'm staking a claim to one heavy crossbow. Don't get me wrong, charging across the battlefield was fun, but next time they may be out of charge range, so I'd like to have that felxibility. :)

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

DP: Shonus, what do you feel about the Weapons of Legacy sourcebook? Would it be something you'd allow?
