Character sheet mostly done.

Went with a beguiler because I've never played one before.

What are the languages in the world/what are the commonly used languages that one should probably learn, Shonus?

Also, are Flaws and/or Traits allowed, and if so, how many?

God no.

There are a number of major languages. Besides Common (which is a pigdin used almost only by mercenaries and merchants), each of the three languages has their own main tounge (Aprilia has two, High and Low Aprilian, with the former being used by nobles and in ceremonies), there are also racial languages for Dwarves (a dead language now) and elves. There is also Draconic and Eastern (used by goblins and their allies.

Given my background, then, I think I should know High Aprilia :P

Edit:....if only the Mythweavers servers weren't borked, I could make the change >_>

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Alright. I think my character is complete, then.

Do we get a language other than Common automatically? Since it's pidgin, and if we didn't, those of us without Intelligence bonuses will have somehow only learned Pidgin their entire life.

It might be that we just select a basic language and Common is something we can either start with or have to pick up with an int bonus.

Given I have Int 14, I'll probably be grabbing High Aprillian (since, you know, character is aprillian royal), Draconic, and Elven until I decide to spend the points to get speak language and Common.

You know Lucius, it's funny we both have characters that are related to nobility(my char's father is a minor lord, yours seems to be the granddaughter of the Empress, if I'm reading that correctly).

I do not recall precisely, but it is possible that the Empress had rather a lot of grandchildren...

The noble families in this setting tend toward large polygamous families.  These tend to result in very high numbers of family connections to a person, even if a given woman doesn't birth any children directly.

Background done. Hopefully it fits with the lore correctly; I figure Markavia still has slums and criminals, probably more than in Aprilia(though possibly less than Cinnabar, depending on your definition of 'criminal'...), given all the things that are illegal(and thus allow criminals to make a profit through).

Since I took Apprentice (Soldier), is it safe to presume her mentor is the person in charge of the group, but not always accompanying them?

I'm not familiar with that feat. Where's it from? (Not challenging it, it is simply that my knowledge is far from encyclopedic, and I can't answer your question because I don't know the source.)

Also, could you add some paragraphs to your backstory? It all runs together, and I'm afraid that I'm having trouble reading it.

Also: Update: I will be holding the first session tuesday, July 8. However, it will likely be a short session, as my boss is stupid enough to think that large amounts of overtime are a valid substitute for hiring enough people to staff the facility properly.

I keep fiddling with the later levels of the ninja replacement class that I'm working on, but the first few levels should be enough for a while; I really only need the first level for generation at the moment. Mostly I'm trying to have fewer 'dead levels'.

Spoiler: Class Features (click to show/hide)

The class is changeable, and will be extended to 20 levels if needed. I'll roll up a character using it shortly, plus a backup if this one doesn't work out.

The "great-granddaughter of Naren" is more important to me, given he was my character in the last game.  But yes, she's certainly royalty too.

Mind, her great-grandmother is presumably long dead by this point, and generations are pretty long by virtue of (at this point, fairly dilute) elvish blood.  No idea who sits the throne now.  Probably some aunt of hers.

Separated.

Also, I believe it's from the Dungeon Master's Guide II.

Also, I think I should ask right now:

Is the Mindbender(from Complete Arcane) prestige class allowed, and is the Mindsight(from Lords of Madness) feat allowed?

If not, I have to redo some stuff concerning my skills and feat.

Speaking of prestige classes, I was inspired to make one based off my planned build:Shieldmaster. Comments would be welcome!

Edit:Due to feedback, I've completely changed my feats to match those required for that class. Also, where are those shield wall feats again? I can't seem to find them...
