Afraid tomorrow's session is cancelled. A friend of mine broke his foot, and I need to help rearrange his house to make things easier.

Is tomorrow's session on or does your friend still need help, Shonus?

If anyone is interested in a new class: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ubvad1x4_UqnH5ho1998OAfRfDH4CTHLx1MbbxiyUGw/edit?usp=sharing

It's not quite finished yet.  Still need to add a few more defensive powers.  Still.

For the record, "knight" is just a placeholder name.

That had to have been deliberate.

Today's session is on, server's going up now (game's not for four hours, but might as well toss it up).

Game in 15 minutes.

Also, in case anyone's delved into the finer points of RAW:

RAW is that a spell's range is how far the magical effect can go, meaning that a maximum range fireball would be a hemisphere.

This is stupid.

I am changing range to mean the targeting point only, which is what it should have been in the first place.

Do you still lose items if you roll a one on your save versus a fireball?

So, my spell list, about time I did one...
0
Sonic snap
Launch item
detect magic
Ray of frost

1
Lesser orb of acid
Mount
Necrotic awareness

So, so far we have as (unclaimed)loot 1 +1 full plate, a magic buckler,  4x heavy crossbows, 4x studded leather, 4 longswords, and around 30k in silver and 30k in copper. Nice

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

30k of silver pieces. Not quite the same.

3300 effective gp in storage. Not anywhere near enough for my our, I meant our, purposes.

no, you're forgetting that it's both 30k of copper AND 30k of silver

30,000 pieces of silver, and 30,000 pieces of copper.

3,300 gold pieces total.

Role is correct. There are 30,000 Silver coins and 30,000 copper coins (technically there's a random amount of random coins that add up to that in weight, but my previous game taught me that abstracting that is best). Gold is extremely rare in this era, and platinum is virtually unheard of.

The way you phrased it sounded like you interpred it as 30000 GP worth of both silver and copper, which would have been a serious overestimation.

I'll take the buckler, as I said.  I can make use of it, at least.
