No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Today's session was a mixed bag, but next session looks to be quite the ride. We've got the leader of the Crossroads Fort Bandits hostage, his nearest guards are all dead or unconscious, and there are potentially hundreds of bandits on the other side of the door. If this isn't an opportunity for some serious diplomacy checking, I don't know what diplomacy is.

Well, I'm all out of diplomacy spells, and our resident diplomancer probably has a concussion.

That said, if the bandit didn't care about his men, they probably didn't care about him much.

It's possible we can pretend to be more powerful than we actually are. Or maybe they do love and respect their leader, and he hides his contempt for his men from them to foster loyalty. Or we can try to sneak out through the ventilation system. Or we can pretend we're taking a large, wiggling bag of laundry out to the cleaners and bargain from a less disadvantageous position. We have a lot of roads to pick from.

My character is out of commission for... at least a day, in game, unless one of you has healing of some sort.

But yeah, they probably don't care anyway.  So, good luck!  Even if I don't quit, I won't have any real role in the next session, so it's up to you guys.

Oh, no, my point was that if they don't give a shit about their leader, why should they want to kill us? We beat him, so obviously we should be the next leader. Or something.

I had the idea of tying the guys up and then going around acting like we'd been given orders to gather up small groups of bandits, lead them to the boss room for "briefing" then knocking them out.

Can we Rule of Fun some HP back into Ashera? At least enough to get to 1 HP and walk around and stuff. Even if we had clerics we wouldn't be able to fix that.  :-\

We can probably get her to 1 HP with enough applications of the Heal skill.

I can't believe we don't have a single healer in our group...

Heal is for stabilizing people and diagnosing medical problems. It doesn't grant actual healing unless we're talking 8-hour-rest timescales.

I know, Barb.

A. Rule of Cool, and B. We should be able to use it to bring her conscious again at the very least.

As well, that's why I said sufficient applications. High enough rolls do heal some small amount, if I remember right from Epic handbook and whatnot. Everyone Assists Another, then take 20.

We kind of left it halfway, and I prefer to award things after all is said and done.
