Anybody know if  NDP released their platform yet?  All I could find on their website is some vague paragraphs and quotes and huge ass blurred pictures.

I was doing my traditional force myself to read the parties platforms but I can't find much for the NDP.  In case anyone is interested in the others, here is the platforms for Liberals and Green Party.

I just slogged through the liberals platform, it was better than I was expecting.

Liberals released an even more complete platform(and in a single document this time).

As much as I dislike the liberals, I'm tempted to give them my vote this time.

Remember! Backhand anyone who doesn't want to vote repeatedly, until they agree to vote.
Seriously though, last election I was pretty hardcore in the "getting youth to vote" thing. Needless to say it appeared to have no affect, I was incredibly disheartened, and refuse to become invested in it again. Damned youth these days. *shakes stick*

NDP has a platform now.  http://xfer.ndp.ca/2015/2015-Full-Platform-EN.pdf

Its not bad, and focuses a lot on issues that the liberal platform ignored.  The one thing I don't like is their electoral reform is going to be the " mixed-member proportional representation", which is better than what we have but kind of locks our current parties into power as half the votes go to the party rather than a candidate (as I understand it).

The Liberals and Greens are promising an inter-party committee kind of thing to decide what the best method of electoral reform, which means they could choose what I would like (STV!)

Of course, liberals (and politicians in general) do have a bit of a history of making promises and then ignoring them so its hard to say...

As the election approaches, things look more and more promising. This is exactly how I felt last election. Waiting for pending doom.

In NB, and I did not see anything like that when I went to the advance pool. I feel strangely left out of whatever that is.

Canadian politics = Timewarp.

And now for your poll updates!
Liberals have currently locked in 5 seats, where no other party has taken any. They're leading in 5 more, with the NDP leading in 2, and the conservatives leading in 1. This is all Atlantic Canada polls. Still another hour and a half till the polls close here in Ontario.

Based on the leading polls it looks like liberals will win the majority! Congrats Canada!
