[6+1+1] You quietly sneak past the German lines and get yourself past the various sentries, noting their exact positions. Off the the north, you hear several shots, followed by a loud horse cry. It seems your comrade are in trouble!

Commissar Grigori Ursine: You make a pretend charge against the Nazi sentries. [1+1 You manage to draw the attention of two sentries, but are slightly less efficient at the "avoiding confrontation part". Sure, you didn't confront them, but they have no qualm about confronting you. They both open fire from 300m away with their G41*. [3-1][2-1][6-1][2-1] Bullets whizzes about you, 3 misses, but the fourth [1] hit your horse in the leg for [3] damage! Radioactive steam surge out of the wound, enveloping you in a faintly glowing green mist as your horse slow down somewhat. It hides you somewhat, and surely Comrade Stalin would not made you ride this steed if it was dangerous!

* Stats are identical to the SVT-40.

Lieutnant Nikifor Sokoloff: As Commissar Ursine charge forward, you dismount out of range of the German sentries and crawl forward. As the shot start firing, you locate the sentries and open fire on the first one. [1+2+1] and hit him in the shoulder for [5] damage in the shoulder.

Tavish Finnegan DeGroot: As bullets start flying, you act in the grandest tradition of the service [5+1] emptying your canteen of Vodka. It's now empty, but maybe the German have some schnaps?
