"Why not do a two-pronged approach? Three of us go over the hill while the other two sneak through the gully. The Germans go for the bai-, ahem, spearhead on the hill, and the men in the gully fall into their back to destroy them."

"I volunteer to be one of the "gully" team. Maybe you should assist me, as you seems to be a relatively sneaky and skilled soldier. Although we maybe should get some way to communicate over distances, maybe a radio?"
Grzegorz starts whispering:
"Besides, you are the only one with any skills in hiding. One is too drunk to think, one is a bear and the last one is going to do all the thinking."

Grigori rides Claw Marx out across the hill, growling loudly to draw attention away from his comrades while using the horse's incredible speed to avoid true confrontation, this is a distraction, not an attack.

((Grigori is a bear of action, not words))

"Very well, let's get going. A radio would indeed be good to have, but for now we'll just listen for the sounds of gunfire and German agony."
We two start sneaking down the sewer.

I'm going to do the smart thing here and disengage. This isn't a hill I paticularly care to die on.

(Helgoland, as officer, you're responsible for issuing commands to people that don't respond. Is your final order for you and SaberToothTiger to go by the gully while the other three try by the hill?)

"What are you waiting for, comrades? Get going, or do you wish to be reported to the NKVD? Comrade Beria is always delighted to hear of those who impede the war effort..."

((This is a bad idea, isn't it?))

((One could argue that unneccessarily suicidal attacks are perfectly in-character for a Soviet commander.))

Nikifor Sokoloff salutes Captain Oleg Vasiliev, "Yes, Captain. At once, Captain."

Sokoloff follows the orders of his idiotic brave Captain. Namely by riding partway up the hill and dismounting, so that he can crawl the rest of the way up and start sniping some Germans with his rifle.

Okay, I can't force you not to read the spoilers that don't concern you, but I think it'll be more enjoyable for you if you don't know exactly what's going on for the other side.

"Only two sentries to stop the glorious charge? What am I evading for?" Grigori thinks to himself before using the cover of his horse's smoke to circle around and leap onto the uninjured sentry, clawing him viciously.

Sokoloff continues being quietly competent and tries to snipe the wounded German sentry.

"Captain, they are under attack! We have to aid them!"
Regardless of my orders I shall sneak up to the Germans and when I get very close I shall unload my PPSH in them.

"It's all going as planned, comrade! Soon we shall be victorious."
I sneak along with the same plan. Quickly and elegantly, just like my performances that moved Comrade Jugashvili so much.
