"It feels..." Darwyn groped for the proper words for a few moments before settling on "Unbalanced. As if this place does not belong in our world."

[Nerjin]

"What? You might want to sit this one out if you're feeling sick. I haven't felt so at home since we left ours."

[Dwarmin]

Relic frowns, folding her hands in front of her, looking to the ground-trying not to have her eyes drawn to the...thing.

"It's terrible. No matter how you look at it. An ugly place. They broke something here. Something important...they hurt something...someone...here, and they enjoyed doing it. This place is a...wound. It's a wound on the surface of the world. A wound that's gotten infected...we should burn it down...smash it...destroy it...I hate it. I hate it like nothing I ever have.

It shouldn't EXIST." She calls, emphatically, though her voice has a definite tremor. She seems to be on the edge of tears, though holding them back admirably.

[Nerjin]

"What are you even talking about? It looks amazing! Besides, plenty of locations contain bloodshed. You're being a child about this. If I smashed everything I hated we wouldn't be having this conversation. Act like an adult oh great adventurer."

[Dwarmin]

"It's...obviously having some sort effect on you...me...all of us. A different effect. We should be careful, whatever we do next..." She says, turning away from it.

[Nerjin]

"Sure."

[Rolepgeek]

"N-n-no....nonononononono...make them stop it...make them stop! They won't stop!"

The bard backs away from the ruins, eyes wide, before cringing and clasping her hands to her ears, pressing on either side.

"Make it stop!"

[Sirus]

Darwyn took Ness by the shoulders and led her away from the ruins.

"Sacha, get back here! I get the distinct impression that we might be getting in over our heads."

[Flying Dice]

Grimacing deeply, Beolas spits out, "Aye. We need to go, Sacha. Now.

[Nerjin]

"Why? Everything's fine. Just give yourselves some times to adjust to all of this. It's really quite wonderful if you let it be."

[Sirus]

Darwyn votes for getting back to the boat. By heading that way.

[Flying Dice]

Beolas stands silently, staring at Sacha, slowly shaking his head.

[Dwarmin]

"We're not wanted here. Let's how about we...never, ever come back again?" Relic helpfully suggests.

Action: Imma go back to da boat. Anti-climax, hoooooo

[Rolepgeek]

As she's led away, Ness calms down enough to simply shiver and stare.

"Th-they wouldn't s-stop, Darwyn. They just keep talking and talking, I can still hear them!...w-what if they never go away? What if I have to hear them for ever and ever and-"

And she begins to cycle again until the words themselves are no longer comprehensible, only the message behind them: fear.

[Sirus]

Darwyn attempted a comforting pat on the bard's shoulder.

"We'll get the voices to stop Ness, don't you worry. If distance from this place won't do it, then surely magic will silence them." A thought struck him. "Or maybe...Ness, haven't you been talking about becoming a knight, like in the old stories?"
