Relic wonders if Sacha needs a hug. She seems to be in a bad mood. All the time.

She edges closer to her...

Sacha doesn't seem to notice anything. Because there is nothing to notice. Nothing happened. Nothing.

...And closer...

"Good morning, Sacha. You seem in a bad mood. Did you sleep well?" Relics says carefully, stealthing up on her.

Relic thought that over half a moment.

"You're confusing me. What is it I haven't done? I mean...I put Bitey in his tank, took a bath, did my morning exercises, made breakfast (Fried Fish), checked the weather, tides and phases of the moon against the omen chart, played hack-a-sack with Beolas (he won), sharpened my tridents, refletched my arrows, checked the hull for leaks, prayed to the Seagulls and Wind, played with Marina, blessed the ship with salt, hunted down a few hull rats with my bow, told everyone a little bit about my past (lots more to come), played hoop-de-hoop with Beolas (he won), promised to be friends with you-and made us matching future friendship bracelets from seashells..., got tangled in the rigging and was rescued by Nest (thanks Nest), and I even watched over you while you slept to keep you safe...

I must admit, I'm at a loss."

"Oh, well, I do have lots to say...I suppose I could say much more, with fewer words...or much less, with more words...or maybe I should just get out everything all at once...or just speak a little, all day long..." She says, ruminating.

"Fewer words is better with Sacha. Relic, right?"

Ness comes up behind Sacha, wrapping an arm around her shoulders, and the other one linking around so her head was over the cleric's shoulder. The bard let her head rest against Sacha's face, the only reason she was able to get up to Sacha's height (as the cleric was a good half a foot taller, after all) due to the step she stood on, directly behind Sacha. She turned her head around slightly to look at Sacha, craning almost sideways to talk to her. She was rather flexible, after all...

"Our priestess(this the right word?) likes a few meaningful words a whole lot better than a boatload of useless ones," she says. Was Sacha just imagining things or was there an undercurrent to those words, the way she said them, how close their faces were...

Ness grins and sticks her tongue out at Relic.

"Otherwise she's liable to sock ya!"

"Uh... Yeah." Sacha, though enjoying the proximity, went to take a step away from the bard. Public affection, in front of strangers no less, wasn't exactly something she did.

Beolas absentmindedly glances back at the little gathering from his perch on the prow of the ship, then shrugs to himself, unable to make out what anyone is saying. He continues to watch the horizon.

Relic smiles, nodding her head thankfully-talking to Sacha made her nervous, which made her chatter...yet, she thought that if Sacha could be close friends with Nest, then surely she would have a chance.

"Alright, Nest! I don't want Sacha to 'sock' for me (Relic actually didn't understand this term), so I'll...less is more. Silence just makes me nervous...but I'll try. Less...is...more. I suppose I can be a bit excitable..."

Relic made a steeple with her hands and said the same set of Elvish words she had said the day before in Nest's direction.
