"I... I just don't like this is all. It was supposed to be our group against the world. Instead we have... I guess the new girl is tolerable but that witch... We can't trust her as far as Gig could have thrown her. Ne-... Whenever I'm around her I feel ill at ease..."

Ness is probably living it up in a tavern somewhere, singing songs for people and letting the whispers surround her, trying to avoid thinking about how she's lost and they might leave without her and she might be stuck in this giant city with no friends and nowhere to stay and oh gods...

Beolas sighs ruefully, rubbing the back of his head.

She leaves the boat and attempts to search for Ness.

"No luck then? Ayleth just left a little while ago. Hopefully you won't have to search for her as well!" He chuckled at the thought, torn between concern for his missing friends and amusement at how they kept missing each other.

"Ness is sm-... Well Ness knows we're at port. She'll turn up. Probably."

[Dwarmin]

"Hey, we were busy finding our way.

I got us lost, and I found the way back, even if it took us through the Boneway, Murder Alley and Slaughter Towen...fastest way, really. Beolas wasn't afraid of the Giant Spiders, but I sure was-and all those helpful shadow men who offered to carry our goods for us just ran away, when Beolas looked at them.

...Look, I even got a pretty hat!" Relic preens, holding up a dingy, stained bronze pot-helm she had found mysteriously laying in the middle of the street.

[Nerjin]

"You certainly do try don't you?"

[Dwarmin]

"You certainly do try don't you?"

"I've never been accused of a lack of enthusiasm!" She says, enthusiastically.

"...I'm going to have a rest."

Beolas unstraps his baldric holding his greatsword, rests it beside him, and leans back against the mainmast.

"On the bright side we haven't been attacked or forced into service at this island. I would think that's our best luck thus far."

You follow the sound of her voice and discover the young woman in a seat at a table in the corner of the tavern, softly singing to herself.

Ayleth walks up to the bard and grins. "Not the face you wished to see, I assume. However, I'm here to collect you and take you back to the ship." She sits down at the table and leans toward Ness. "But first, I find myself very curious about these... voices you hear. What do they say about me?"
