I can track through water, find safe passage on land, water! And food! On any land....any ISLAND..." Terrified, she rattled on with her practiced pitch, afraid they were going to toss her off the ship. Sometimes they tossed her off even before they sailed, she could never figure out why...

"That's true enough," Darwyn agreed. "I'm still not sure how the blasted contraption even moves..."

Relic took a deep breath.

Anyway, my parents named me Relic-there's a story there too...but, everyone just calls em Reli. Hello..." She finished meekly.

Ayleth raised an eyebrow. "You do talk quite a bit. But I find your presence more tolerable than the Sacha's. Speaking of tolerability, where's your pet, Sacha?" Ayleth grins at the explosion she's inevitably caused.

[Nerjin]

"Go where? We literally just got here earlier today. I have a gem valued at one thousand and four hundred gold pieces. Split four ways that's three hundred and fifty each. Which isn't a bad payment I'd think."

"A pet like Bitey?" the Elf-girl says, motioning to the crocodile on her shoulder, which is still staring at Ayleth, balefully.

"...or a metaphorical pet, meaning close friend, with connotations implying lackey, flunky, yes-man, lickspittle, sycophant and underling?" She finished grammatically. Though she hadn't told anyone-and they hadn't asked-Relics rattling method of speech was due to the fact that she had not been born speaking common. Her own language used alot less words to say the same things...

Since Ayleth is then the target of an (attempted) punch by Sacha, Relic assumes the latter.

[Nerjin]

"Okay, you shut up. You two don't get to talk about Ness like that." Sacha says before stomping off to her room. Rather immaturely some would say.

[Sirus]

The druid facepalmed when Sacha attempted to punch Ayeleth, and again when Sacha stomped away.

"It's a bit complicated, Relic. I'm Darwyn, and the dolphin in the water is Marina."

[Silthuri]

Ayleth laughs once Sacha leaves. "I love being a thorn in her side. But I think I'd best leave for a while before she gets the urge to try again." She leaves the boat and attempts to search for Ness.
