Beolas scratches the back of his head sheepishly, "Aye, whatever you think is best, then?"

"Ah what the hell. I'll go." Sacha said as she prepared herself for the journey "I'm light and can heal myself up just as simple as that. Beleuchten" Sacha said as her Sickle began glowing. "Lower me down boys."

Cast light on Sickle. Get lowered into hole via rope.

Look for something sturdy to tie the free end of the rope to.

If something which will hold it securely is found, then tie it off well and begin to carefully lower Sacha.

The nearby rocky outcrops are sufficient. You tie the rope.

Darwyn and Beolas begin to lower Sacha downward... but the knot slips! Beolas keeps hold on the rope, but it slips from Darwyn's grasp, leaving Sacha dangling over a treacherously deep cavern.

((5 on your Use Rope check... ouch.))

Acting quickly, Darwyn ties the knot again.

[Nerjin]

"A-heh, A-heh uh, Hey guys? Remember all that stuff I said way back when? You know I w-was just juh-joking right!?" Sacha said as she desperately clinged to the rope. She couldn't even see the bottom of the shaft. She didn't want to think of what would happen if she fell.

[Tawa]

Anyway, the duo begin cautiously lowering the rope.

Somehow, by bad fortune, the knot slips again. Beolas catches hold once more, luckily, and Darwyn gets a grasp, too, but only after the rope slipped a massive amount, at least twenty feet.

Oddly enough, by now, the rope would be taut if it were tied, and yet, both Darwyn and Beolas feel Sacha's weight swinging below.

Sacha can just barely see the floor, which is a good sixty feet or so below her. The only reason she can see it is because the dull, purple glow is more pronounced down there.

Damn, this is a big hole.

[Nerjin]

"Okay... Okay... Is there any more rope? I see the bottom!" Sacha shouts up to the duo.

Prepare to attempt a tumble check to not die if the rope slips from their hands again regardless of if they lower me or pull me up.

[Flying Dice]

Beolas shouts down to Sacha, "Don't worry, I can hold you all day and night if I need to!"


Then, only slightly less loudly, "Does anyone else have more rope?"

[Nerjin]

"What? More rope!? You aren't... Are you serious?"

[Sirus]

"That was all I had! I figured 50ft would be enough."

[Flying Dice]

"Aye, and I had 100 feet of my own. Were we the only two to think it necessary?"

[Nerjin]

"NESS HAS SOME! I WENT THROUGH H- I SAW HER PACK IT THE OTHER DAY! NOW CAN WE PLEASE JUST LOWER ME A BIT CLOSER TO THE FLOOR SO I DON'T DIE!?"
