The kobolds had on them a total of 100 silver pieces and the key to the lock on the cabin. The leader seems to have a scrawled note on him written in a script known only to Gig: Iokharic, the Draconic alphabet.

Unfortunately, this note was written in what seems to be some kind of cipher or old form of the language; perhaps it is written in another language. You have no clue what it says, due to your inability to decipher script. You'll need to ask an expert or train the skill yourself.

"Painful, I'm sure, but it doesn't look too serious." He rummaged through his pouch and pulled out a couple of the berries he had enchanted not very long ago. "You can probably sleep it off without much of a problem, but if you want to speed the process up you can eat these. One now, one at dinnertime, and you'll be right as rain. What's more, each of these are as sustaining and filling as a good meal!"
