"Maybe we should ask about to see what the procedures for this sort of thing are. I'd hate for them to take our boat because we broke the law."

Darwyn looked bemused at that.

"Can they do that? I mean, no one else is docked here...why would they take our boat?"

[Nerjin]

"For all we know it could be a reserved area for a merchant's boat. I'd prefer we were safe here."

[Sirus]

Darwyn scoffed at that notion.

"There's plenty of open space for other boats, so we might as well stay here. If you're really worried, I'll stay with the ship and make sure no one tries to take it."

[Nerjin]

"It doesn't really need to come to that. We just ask around, find out who we need to talk to, if anyone, and then we take proper procautions."

[Flying Dice]

Frowning, Beolas scratches his head, "Is that really how folk think? There's nae sense to letting docks stand empty when there's ships that need to make land."

[Nerjin]

"I'm not really sure to be honest. I uh... Just remember tales I've heard about nobles getting rather... Annoyed that people had put their ship in the way of another's." Sacha briefly looked away from the group realizing that perhaps telling them details based on stories she'd heard from her father wasn't the smartest way to do things.

"It's probably a good idea for someone to stay with the boat anyway...what if someone just tries to steal it?"

Ness hops off the boat and looks around, stretching, and trying to get her land-legs back. She kicks lightly at the front of the boat, as if testing the hold it has on the docks.

[Flying Dice]

"Mm, a good thought. I imagine I'll be of little help in wandering the city, but a great deal in scaring off thieves, eh?" Beolas chuckles.

[Nerjin]

"That would likely be best. With that magic sword of yours it'd be hard for most the take it from you."

[Flying Dice]

"Is it magic, do you reckon?"

[Nerjin]

Sacha raises an eyebrow at this "Didn't I tell you?"

[Flying Dice]

"Not that I recall..."

[Nerjin]

"Huh... Well it has some sort of transmutation on it. If I'm not mistaken."

[Flying Dice]

"I've not the slightest inkling what that means, Sacha."
